A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure following an incident in Kesgrave.

Police appealed for information after two 11-year-old girls saw a man with his jeans down around his knees who appeared to be acting in an indecent manner inside a dark blue car on the side of the road, partially on the verge, in Bell Lane at around 4pm on Wednesday.

A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman has today said a 30-year-old man from Felixstowe was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure on Saturday morning.

The force spokesman said he was taken in to custody where he was interviewed in connection with the incident and about similar incidents in Foxhall Road in Ipswich on Thursday and on December 6.

He has been bailed to return to police on February 21 while further enquiries are carried out.
