A barn used as a vehicle workshop in a Suffolk village was hit by fire this evening.

The blaze broke out in Little Cornard, near Sudbury, shortly before 7pm.

Firefighters from the nearby town were called to Chapel Lane, where rubbish inside a barn had caught light.

Two crews wore breathing gear and used high pressure hoses to bring the flames under control in less than half an hour.
