A bin fire that spread to a house is under investigation by police.

Two wheelie bins were set alight in Worthing Road, Lowestoft at around 1.10am this morning, with the fire spreading to the house’s external fascia.

Two fire crews attended the incident and had put the fire out within half an hour.

The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious and police are investigating.
