A TWO-YEAR-OLD child that was locked in a car was rescued this morning.

A Lowestoft South fire engine was called to the incident on Salisbury Road, Lowestoft at around 9.28am.

Crews used small gear to release the child, who was rescued unharmed by 9.41am.
