Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery near Yeoman Close in Ipswich.

It happened around 9.45pm on January 27. A 58-year-old man on a bicycle was approached by seven or eight young people. As he cycled past he felt something strike him on the head.

He challenged the group who started to throw stones at him. One of the group stole the victim’s bike torch before they ran off into Yeoman Close.

They are described as white males, aged around 14-years-old, of slim builds and were heard speaking a foreign language between themselves.
