Thousands of people are set to descend on Christchurch Park in Ipswich on Saturday for the town’s annual firework spectacular - but did you attend the event in 1995?

It will be the 46th year of the event in the town, and is expected to be enjoyed as much as ever by guests young and old.

Entertainment on the night included a funfair full of rides, a bonfire, live music and games for the crowd to enjoy.

Gates to this year’s event open at 6pm, with the firework display setting off at 8pm. A funfair, stalls and a bar will remain open until 10pm.
