Mendlesham: Large coach overturns in ditch

RECOVERY is being arranged for a coach was overturned into a ditch.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said they had received a report of a broken down coach on an unnamed road – close to the grain store – in Mendlesham at 11.20am today.

The circumstances around the incident are not known.

He said recovery could take up to three or four hours to arrange, and that recovery would cause the road to be closed.

Reader Michael Stevenson caught the incident on camera and said the find left him “rather shocked”.
