Mildenhall: Neighbours help man after fire breaks out at his house

NEIGHBOURS helped to escort and an elderly man out of his house in Emmanuel Close, Mildenhall, today, after a fire broke out.

Fire crews from Mildenhall and Newmarket were called to the scene at 2.39pm and wore breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze bringing it under control by 2.53pm using a hose reel.

The man was treated for smoke inhalation.
