Star Memories - Sunday Morning Footbal League presentations

Archant

AS we usher in another New Year, we take a look back into the archives once again.

Looking through the archives from 1973, we found these images of Ipswich Model Aircraft Club, Suffolk ladies tennis team in November, Clifford Road school’s Christmas fayre and a cream cakes competition presentation at Debenhams.

Did you take part in the baking competition or maybe have an interest in all things aeronautical?

We also have images of children singing carols on the Cornhill in December and Thurleston pupils packing Christmas parcels for the elderly along with images of the Springfield Follies.

Are you in any of these pictures?

As ever, if you have any memories you wish to share with Star readers, email us at starnews@archant.co.uk
