Morland School football team with their new strip in 1995

Archant

LOOKING the year 1995 we hope these photos will bring back happy memories.

Among the latest pictures we are publishing from our archives, we have some delighted pupils from Morland School in Ipswich with their new football strip.

We also have an image of St Joseph’s pupils polishing shoes for Romania, pictures from Halifax School’s book week characters and maths awards to pupils at Northgate School - see the gallery above right.

Showing Ipswich’s community spirit, we have the presentation of a cheque to the Diabetes Centre, promoter John Cobbold at the Community Playbus and the last nurse to wear a hat at Ipswich Hospital plus some of the staff from C&A presenting a cheque to Ipswich Hospital.

As ever, if you have any memories you wish to share with Ipswich Star readers, drop us a line at the addresses below and we’ll feature your contributions at a later date.
