Firefighters have tackled a blaze at a large container containing charcoal at a business park at Risby.
Two crews from Bury St Edmunds were called to the scene of the fire in the open at Symonds Farm Business Park at 9.35pm.
They arrived at 9.44pm and requested a water carrier due to difficult access to water supplies.
The container housed about five tonnes of charcoal, all of which was involved in the fire.
Crews were using two hose reels and two chromes to fight it.
At 10.21pm the contents were being removed from the container and a JCB vehicle was assisting with spreading the contents prior to using the water carrier to extinguish the fire.
The incident has since been brought under control and all appliances are back at base.
The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
