Car crashes into house in The Pastures, Rushmere.

A woman in her 80s suffered minor injuries after her car hit a house.

The property in The Pastures, Rushmere St Andrew, was also damaged during the accident, which happened at about 3pm. It is not yet known what caused the incident.

Paramedics and firefighters were called to assist the woman who suffered minor injuries when her VW Golf left the road.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said the casualty did not need to be taken to the hospital after being treated at the scene.
