A car fire on the A14 caused one lane to be closed for more than an hour tonight.

A road block was put in place at just before 9.45pm, closing one lane, while firefighters worked to put out the flames.

The car was safely removed and the lane reopened at 10.40pm, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said.
