Sproughton: Fire in pick-up truck ‘suspicious’.

FIREFIGHTERS believe a fire in a pick-up truck abandoned in Sproughton was “of suspicious origin”.

One fire crew from Princes Street in Ipswich was called to the fire on Church Street in Sprougton just before 9pm yesterday.

When they arrived at the scene at 9.05pm they found the abandoned pick-up truck “well alight”.

The blaze was quelled by 9.18pm.
