Thomas Allen, 23, of Soham in Cambridgeshire, died at Ipswich Hospital on Christmas Day after the accident on the westbound carriageway, near to Sproughton.

Six horses strayed on to the road causing the crash at about 10.20pm on Christmas Eve.

  • I don't understand how he's out on bail after his actions caused a young man to lose his life. I just hope he returns to answer the charges!

  • West Meadows again, no doubt? Police ought to have a small office there... could cater for the "ethnic minorities" in the immediate area - would save thousands.
