A man and a woman have been arrested today after Suffolk Trading Standards officers and police raided a property in Sproughton.

A spokesman for Suffolk Trading Standards said the pair are suspected of selling bootlegged goods.

Around 150 counterfeit items of clothing and footwear have been seized following today’s swoop.

In addition officers have said approximately 50 counterfeit dvds and cds have been found.

They have been taken to the police investigation centre at Martlesham police headquarters for questioning.

The arrests came after a search warrant was executed at a suspected counterfeiter’s address.

Both suspects are aged in their 30s. It is understood the man is already on bail after being suspected of similar officers.

The man and woman have been arrested under Trade Marks Act 1994, for the sale and possession of counterfeit goods. The trade marks seized today include Superdry, Hollister, Ralph Lauren, Nike & Ugg.
