A WOMAN has sustained life threatening injuries following a two car collision this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Stow Lane in Stowlangtoft near Bury St Edmunds at 2.45pm.

A female casualty had to be extracted from a VW Polo and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for treatment.

Police have closed off the road to traffic.
