POLICE in Stowmarket have appealed for witnesses after a cyclist was pushed by the passenger of a passing car and then beaten up.
The incident happened as the man was riding up Poplar Hill at 7.30am today.
He was first pushed by the passenger of a passing car which then pulled over further up the hill close to the junction with Webb Road.
Five men got out of the car and assaulted the cyclist, leaving him with cuts and bruises.
Any witnesses can speak to Pc Colin Taylor on 101.
