PEOPLE have been filling a skip as part of a new food bank’s drive to help people in need.

The skip, which was outside Asda, was being filled by kind-hearted shoppers in support of the Stowmarket Foodbank.

Hazel Smith from the food bank said: “We would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the fill a skip challenge at Asda. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who gave donations, from the moment the skip arrived people started giving and it was very soon filling up with food.”
