A Suffolk man accused of hacking into US government computer networks including the Army and NASA has been charged in a new indictment with infiltrating the Federal Reserve’s computers.

Lauri Love, of Stradishall, has been charged with computer hacking and aggravated identity theft after initially being arrested in Britain in October. The new court papers were unsealed today in Manhattan.

Prosecutors say 28-year-old Love broke into the Federal Reserve network between October 2012 and February 2013. Authorities say he then posted on a website the names, email addresses and phone numbers of users of the Federal Reserve computer system.

The charges carry a potential for up to 12 years in prison.

Love was previously charged in federal court in Newark, New Jersey.
