More than 200 students, parents and teachers gathered at BT Adastral Park in Martlesham for the company’s apprenticeship showcase on Wednesday.

Organised by the firm’s latest apprentices, the group were able to hear success stories and inspiration from apprentices past and present – including managing director Tim Whitley who began as an apprentice.

BT Apprentice Jack Haward added, “We really want to inspire students and show them that they do not have to take the standard university route. There are other options and a BT apprenticeship really allows you take ownership of your career and steer it in the direction you want to go.”
