Police link two school burglaries

Police are linking two burglaries over the weekend at primary schools in Babergh.

The first incident occurred between 6.30pm on Friday, June 6 and 5am on Monday, June 9 when a rock was thrown through a window of a fire door at a primary school in Main Road, Shotley.

The burglar(s) then forced the door open and entered the property but nothing is believed to have been taken.

Police are linking this to a second incident that occurred between 5.30pm on Friday, June 6 and 8am on Monday, June 9 at a primary school in Holbrook Road, Stutton.

The window of a door was smashed and entry forced to the premises. Once inside a search of the building was made and laptops and digital cameras were stolen from within.

If anyone saw anything suspicious in these areas over the weekend or have any information in relation to either of the incidents they are asked to contact Hadleigh Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
