FIREFIGHTERS are currently at the scene of a blaze at a pet food factory.
A crew was alerted to the Nestle Purina Petcare factory at Chilton Industrial Estate in Windham Road, Sudbury, at 7.30pm tonight.
Initially only one crew was called out, but on arrival they requested the assistance of another crew after a machinery fire was confirmed.
A small fire was located in a grinder and was quickly put out.
Crews remain at the scene checking for any signs that the flames may have spread.
A spokesman for the brigade said that at 8.30pm a further investigation took place, with hose reel jets standing by.
