A BROKEN down train on the line between Marks Tey and Sudbury prompted rail bosses to introduce a replacement bus service this morning.
Operator Greater Anglia had to close the commuter route temporarily but all services are now back to normal.
A spokesman said the delay was caused by a broken down diesel train at Marks Tey.

Why was the entire line closed due to a single train breaking down? Is it so difficult to repair or remove a faulty train, and replace it with one that is working?
