A large boat is set to be transported through the county on Sunday.

The load, measuring 5.2m wide and 24m long, will travel under police escort from Hoveton, Norfolk, to Ipswich.

It will begin its journey at 8am.

Police are warning motorists to expect delays.

The planned route will take local roads at either end of the journey, taking the A1151 northbound, the A149, B1152, A1064 and A47 around Norwich.

It will then travel along the A11, B1135, Wymondham Street, Spooners Row then rejoin the A11, before going on the A1304, B1506 at Kentford, A14, B1308 Stowmarket, B1113, Needham Market, Great Blakenham, Lorraine Way, Bramford Way, Sproughton, A1071 and finally the A12/A14 before travelling along the A137.
