Some of Suffolk’s finest live bands will be performing at a free, Jools-Holland-style gig at the Ipswich Corn Exchange tomorrow night.

The performance has been arranged by level three media students at Suffolk New College, and will feature the filmed event using a format similar to BBC show Later with Jools Holland, from 6pm.

It’s the 14th year the college has run its Live Event, this year named United Sounds, which features students across the college sharing their talents with filming, directing, lighting, press, sounds and visuals.

Tutor, Jon Saward, said: “The whole event is being created, promoted and managed by the students.

“It gives them a real opportunity to show off their talents.

“You cannot put a value on the lessons they will learn by being involved in this.”

Tickets are free, and can be requested by emailing the organisers here.

The concert runs from 6-9pm.
