Student Ambassadors from an Ipswich school were given the opportunity to watch their footballing heroes in action.
Ten students from the Ormiston Endeavour Academy were treated to an exciting day at Portman Road.
On arrival the pupils were given a tour of the stadium and met Ipswich Town players Luke Chambers, Dean Gerken and Bartosz Bia?kowski.
The group also announced the teams on the stadium microphone before forming a guard of honour with Ipswich Town flags to welcome players as they exited the tunnel.
Courtney Porter who took part in the visit said; “I really enjoyed the whole thing; it was such a nice event for Ormiston Endeavour to arrange for us. It’s a shame about the match result!”
Principal Christine Woods said: “This was such a wonderful event for our teachers to arrange for our students and I’m so pleased that they enjoyed it.”
