Motorists were being advised to drive with caution this morning after a cold night left roads icy and potentially treacherous.
Police dealt with several early morning crashes across Suffolk - two of which involved cars rolling onto their sides.
One 52-year-old man was taken to hospital after the Vauxhall car he was driving mounted a roundabout on the A1307 in Haverhill.
Two fire crews from Haverhill and one crew from Wickhambrook helped free the man from the wreckage.
Paramedics and volunteers from emergency medical charity, Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS), treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Addenbrookes hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
Another collision happened at 5.40am in Wangford Road, Lakenheath, and involved a Jeep Cherokee.
At 6.10am a BMW ended up on its side in Market Hill, Clopton. The male driver was shaken but escaped serious injury.
Just before 7am another car rolled onto its side in Clay Lane, Henley.
Temperatures fell well below zero overnight, leaving conditions potentially hazardous for drivers early this morning.
