Most of the flooding has been in west Suffolk - between Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds - but crews have been out to some areas in the east of the county.
Several people were rescued from flood water in Lavenham at about 10.30am. 14 properties in Gardiner Close in Bury have been flooded as well as homes in Great Cornard.
Drivers in Haverhill, Withersfield, Great Thurlow and Risby have also been rescued.
EADT and Ipswich Star reporters and photographers are out at flood-hit areas.
