Suffolk: Firefighters called to traffic collisions in the county

Firefighters were called to help a woman who was trapped in a car following a collision in Felixstowe last night.

The incident took place in Port of Felixstowe Road at about 9pm.

Two crews from the town and a pump rescue tender from Stowmarket were sent to the scene.

The woman was released from the car and left in the care of ambulance workers at about 9.35pm.

Meanwhile, crews were also called to a collision in Blundeston Road, Somerleyton, near Lowestoft, just before 8.20pm yesterday.

Three crew from stations in Lowestoft were sent to the scene and released one person who was trapped in a vehicle at 9.20pm.

  • I agree about the number of vehicles and firefighters but 9 pm to 9.35 pm is not 12 hours.
