Suffolk: Singer Ed Sheeran to work with Christina Aguilera on The Voice USA

Suffolk superstar Ed Sheeran is set join the fifth series of The Voice USA as a team advisor.

The official twitter feed for the singing talent show announced that the Grammy-nominated artist will assist judge Christina Aguilera during the battle rounds of the television programme in October.

He will work with the American singer to help advise and coach the contestants.

Sheeran is no stranger to working with big names. He has co-written with artists such as Taylor Swift and One Direction, and has duetted with Elton John.

The former Framlingham schoolboy’s debut album is now quadruple platinum in the UK.

The 22-year-old singer and songwriter is also set for a 
headlining performance at Madison Square Garden in November – his biggest Stateside show to date.
