A 26-year-old woman walking her dog in the middle of Sutton Heath woods saw the man sitting on a resting post around 5.30pm on Tuesday.

As she walked past he called out to her and when she turned round she saw he was indecently exposing himself.

The woman left and police were contacted a short time later.

The man is described as white, in his late 40s to early 50s, of chubby build, balding with short dark hair at the sides, unshaven and wearing glasses, a black Puffa-style jacket and denim shorts.

He is thought to have been around 500 metres from the Sutton car park at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information about the incident or the offender should call Pc Benjamin Throssell on 101.
