Adam Askew, 32, from Portman Road, Ipswich, said: “I don’t know any of them. I will vote, but I don’t know who for. It probably won’t make a difference, but it gives people a say. I will look into it more before voting.”

“I will surf for information before voting.”

Jill Bailey, 33, from Ipswich, said: “I’ve got no idea. If I do vote, it’ll be close your eyes and pick a box. I don’t think it will change anything, I don’t think people really know what they do anyway, it’s all behind-the-scenes.”

Lauren Garfield, 37, from Waldringfield, said: “I know nothing about it. I think most people won’t vote because they don’t know what they’re voting for or what the candidates stand for.”
