Suede are coming to Thetford Forest

Britpop pioneers Suede are the latest headline act coming to west Suffolk this summer.

The Mercury Music Prize winners will perform at Thetford Forest in June as the group continues its successful comeback.

Their debut album soared to the top of the album charts in 1993 as the fastest selling debut album in almost 10 years, selling 100,000 copies in its first week.

After splitting in 2003, the group reformed in 2010 and last year launched their sixth studio album, Bloodsports, which was well received by critics and fans alike and earned the group another top 10 hit.

Suede’s follow the likes of Katherine Jenkins and Boyzone in coming to Thetford Forest, while Tom Jones and James Blunt are booked to perform at Newmarket Races.

Suede and special guests will be at the forest on Friday, June 13. For more details visit www.forestry.gov.uk/music
