Easton and Otley College’s ‘Big Day Out’ returned after a three year hiatus yesterday - attracting thousands to the Otley campus.

The 3,000 people who attended the event were treated to a host of entertainment including dancing sheep, face your fear challenges with creepy crawlies and a vintage car show.

The Big Day Out’s organiser, Adele Wyse, said the event had been a huge success.

“It was a really great day for everyone.”

All profits from the event will be donated to the college’s two charities of choice.

This year St Elizabeth Hospice and the RSPCA are set for a big cash boost.

Sue Durrant, from Ipswich, said: “We have several grandchildren and they love it.

“Seeing the animals was a highlight. “We will be back next year.”
