Flooding caused by heavy downpours on Monday night and Tuesday is still causing problems for some drivers in west Suffolk.

Drivers are being advised to take care on the A143 in Great Barton because of flood water, which is affecting the road near the Thurston Road junction.

A broken down van on the London-bound carriageway of the A12 near Stratford St Mary has also resulted in slow traffic this morning.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that traffic is building along Felixstowe Road heading towards Trinity Park because of the Suffolk Show. Police have previously appealed for drivers to leave extra time for their journey today and tomorrow.
