SUFFOLK-bound commuters faced major hold-ups this evening after an accident involving a car and caravan on the A12.
The smash happened at the turning to Stoke-by-Nayland from the southbound A12 around 4.45pm.
It partially-blocked the northbound carriageway - police say just one lane was open while the vehicle was recovered.
A spokeswoman added no-one was injured in the incident.
