Travel: Delays on trains because of signalling problems

Rail commuters travelling on the mainline between Ipswich and London Liverpool Street are being hit with delays of 10 minutes because of a signalling problem.

The signalling problem happened at Maryland and is expected to cause minor disruptions for commuters travelling home this evening.

There are no reported problems on the county’s roads this evening. There was a two vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway shortly after 3pm today near junction 53.

However this was cleared shortly after 4pm and the road is now clear.
