Travel: Trains back to normal following delays after vehicle hit bridge in Needham Market

Rail commuters faced delays this evening after a vehicle hit a bridge at Needham Market.

Network Rail engineers were sent to the incident, which was cleared after 7pm.

According to Greater Anglia, there were delays of 40 minutes for commuters travelling between Ipswich and Peterboro via Ely, Ipswich and Cambridge in both directions and between Norwich and London Liverpool Street in both directions.
