UK: Man in court over murder of April Jones

A FORMER lifeguard accused of abducting and killing five-year-old schoolgirl April Jones has appeared in court charged with her murder.

Mark Bridger appeared at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court today accused of the abduction and murder of five-year-old April Jones.

He was remanded in custody and will next appear at Caernarfon Crown Court on Wednesday.

Bridger, 46, was charged on Saturday following four days of questioning.
