Foxhall Road has re-opened after a road traffic collision earlier today.
Police were called to Foxhall Road, Ipswich, just after 12noon.
As well as officers, ambulance and fire crews have been in attendance. A police spokesman said the firefighters had worked to remove roof of the man’s silver Jaguar X-Type.
That car was involved in a collision with a red Ford Focus which had caused the road to close, but has since been re-opened.
Police said the man has been taken to hospital after suffering from shortness of breath and chest pains, and could not rule out “life-threatening” or “life-changing” injuries.
