The westbound carriageway of the A14 has reopened after an overturned car was cleared.

The accident happened near the junction with the A142 at Exning, west of Newmarket, shortly after 5pm.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said the driver of a blue Ford Focus suffered “minor injuries” after leaving the road.

The road had been cleared by 6.15pm.
