Two teenage girls reported missing from Ipswich yesterday have been found safe and well this morning.

Tegan Kirby and Katja Kacanovska were reported missing at around 9.30pm yesterday.

They were last seen at around 8am when they left their homes in Ipswich to attend Copleston High School.

A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said the two girls were found safe and well in Ipswich this morning.

“Police would like to thank the media and public for their support with this missing person enquiry,” the spokesman said.

A Suffolk village remains in lockdown this morning as a police stand-off which began on Monday night continues.
