Update: Road reopened on A12 at Stratford St Mary after car hits barrier

THE A12 near Stratford St Mary is fully reopened after a car collided with the crash barrier earlier today.
The incident took place at 11.02am on the southbound carriageway.
The male driver of the car, a black VW Golf, was taken to Colchester A&E complaining of neck and chest pain.
One lane was closed as recovery was required for the vehicle, but all lanes were fully reopened by 12.07pm.
