Police have arrested two more teenagers a connection with objects being thrown from a footbridge over the A12 at Martlesham.

The windscreen of a silver BMW, being driven by a 41-year-old woman, was cracked in the incident at around 4am on Sunday, June 17.

A 16-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl, both from Martlesham, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage early today and interviewed about the incident. Both have now been bailed to return to police on July 17.

Two 15-year-old boys arrested yesterday on suspicion of causing a danger to road users have both also been bailed until the same date, pending further enquiries.

Officers are continuing to ask anyone who may have been in the area around this time to come forward if they saw anything suspicious. If you can help please call 101.
