Updated: Two adults and a child rescued from car after collision in Ixworth Thorpe

A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after a collision between a car and a van.
A blue Ford Fiesta collided with a white Ford Transit in Ixworth Road, Ixworth Thorpe near Honington, around 3.05pm.
Firefighters spent almost an hour trying to free a male driver and two passengers - a woman and a child - from the Fiesta.
Fire crews from Ixworth, and Bury St Edmunds reached the scene just after 3.20pm and began assisting with the rescue effort.
