The 5km ‘Colour Dash’, which will take place on July 12, will see participants covered in powdered paint as they make their way along the course.

The team behind the venture are hopeful hundreds of people will support the event.

Hannah Bloom, who manages the EACH fundraising team, said: “It’s just something completely different. It looks fantastic and it will be great with people covered in paint.”

The event will cost £20 for adults and £10 for children. The funds raised will go to the Treehouse.
