Archant

WE all know that you shouldn’t text and drive - but texting and walking seems to be equally hazardous if this video is anything to go by.

The CCTV clip, captured in a shopping mall in Pennsylvania, USA, shows a woman so preoccupied with her phone that she fails to pay attention to her surroundings.

And thus she walks straight into a fountain - and plunges headfirst into the water.

The woman, who hasn’t been identified, wasn’t hurt in the accident - although her pride probably took a bit of battering.

  • What does this have to do with local news? Really, this isn't what I expect from a local news source.

  • The Internet is full of this type of material. Is it a slow news day or a video that's been shared around the EADT and Evening Star offices that you thought was so funny that you thought you had to share it with us... :(
