In the wake of the storm, our iwitness community have been out capturing the scenes of carnage left behind.
In Ipswich, branches, bricks and other debris litter the streets, and Christchurch Park remains closed after several trees were torn apart by the winds.
Huge branches were left hanging precariously, as captured by Mark Scutt.
Hawke Road, Nacton Road and Spring Road in the town have also been left littered with branches, twigs and leaves ripped from trees as the strong winds passed through.
On the Waterfront, a wall collapsed into the road, leaving rubble spilled across the carriageway.
Barry Pullen captured the storm in action in Defoe Road, Ipswich - see the video footage.
