Can Mick

Can Mick's boys score a win over Bristol City?

THIS weekend Ipswich Town head west to take on bottom of the league Bristol City.

Will they be able to clinch a win over the Robins?

Ipswich Town reporters Stuart Watson and Chris Brammer reveal their thoughts on the game in our web video and discuss the improvements new manager Mick McCarthy has made in recent weeks.

Soon after his appointment, the Blues shot up the table but can they maintain their current position?

What are your thoughts? Leave your comments below.

  • Maybe go in a little bit tighter on the shot and invest in some basic lighting to cure the black eyes. No real need for camera shake, surely? Just lock off the camera. Thought the two lads were great, however.

  • I think we may be becoming the leagues draw specialists. As we seem tighter in defense, but have no cutting edge up front. MM obviously seems content with not losing rather than winning for the rest of this season. Which is I suppose no bad thing if it keeps us in the Championship, but how long will the long suffering supporters put up with that. Mind you, we cannot say that MM didn't tell us that he expected us to yo-yo for the remainder of the season. Hopefully he knows exactly what is required to produce a decent side, but it will take a lot of readies or a lot of luck coupled with wheeler dealing like never before.

  • The headline is so bizarrely unrepresentative of a dull game against relegation favourites that I would be amazed to hear that anyone bothered to click on the video and hear what your lazy hacks have to say. Bristol City are one of four teams contesting relegation.... they would hope to beat a Town & loan assortment team coasting to a lower mid-table finish... but whether they do or not matters not one jot.
